Tours advertised on our website are operated by Himalayan Experiences, No.7, Teacher's Colony, Lakkad Ghat Road, Shyampur, Rishikesh 249204, Uttarakhand, India

Bookings

Cost includes all accommodation, most meals, guides, porters, internal air flights bike/Jeep hire and fuel costs or as per Package including excluding details or as deal with Himalayan Experiences (if applicable).

Not included in costs

International flights, passports, visas, insurance, medical costs, immunizations, cost of evacuation, alcohol, laundry, excess baggage charges, expenses arising from delays or extension of a tour due to weather, political issues, illness or any other reason.

Special requests

We will try to cater for any special requests, such as single room or special dietary needs made at the time of booking. We will let you know about any charge for the request. We can only guarantee requests which are confirmed in writing or.

Changes in cost of tours ( If any )

Himalayan Experiences reserves the right to increase the prices of tours at any time without notice.(if any changes in Tax and government policies or currency exchange rate changes).

Medical and Health

Please let us know well before departure of any health problems. The tour leader has the right to disqualify any member at any time if they feel the tour member is unable to safely complete the trip or is putting the group at risk. Refunds are.

If we change or cancel your booking

Although we will make every effort to ensure that the details of tours are accurate. We may occasionally have to use alternative accommodation. If this happens, accommodation provided will be at an equal, or higher, standard to that originally advertised. Also, due to the very nature of traveling in this part of the world, sometimes parts of tours may have.

Insurance

Tour members must have their own travel insurance. This is an essential for travel in the Himalayas and must include emergency evacuation coverage. We assume no liability over medical care due to remoteness and facilities but will make sure you get the best available, as there are trained medics on the tours.

Motorcycle /Jeep deposit ( If any )

A deposit of 10% of Insurance cost or decided by Himalayan Experiences is required prior to tour departure. This is refunded after the tour. We are not liable to replace a damaged motorbike / SUV although we will do our utmost to repair damaged bikes or SUVs.

If you cancel or change your booking

If a reservation is cancelled by tour member, your deposit is returned minus cancellation fee as follows.

  1. More than 90 days - 10% of total as transfer fee and tax one time paid
  2. 89 - 60 days - 20% of total cost
  3. 59 - 30 days - 50% of total cost
  4. 29 - 20 days - 80% of total cost
  5. Less than 20 days - 100% of total cost

Airline ticket refunds are the responsibility of tour members so make sure your insurance covers cancellation.

Himalayan Experiences reserves the right to cancel the tour for any reason, including insufficient numbers. If this happens refunds will be made in full which constitutes full settlement. In the event a tour is cancelled or ended early due to reasons out with our control such as, but not limited to, riots, strikes, government restrictions, floods, earthquakes or any other act of God, this contract becomes invalid. In addition, refunds may occasionally be offered in other circumstances at the discretion of the management.

Himalayan Experiences reserves the right to accept, decline or retain any tour member from any tour at any time on the grounds of member not complying with local traffic laws or our own requirements for group travel. Tour members agree.

Release of Liability and Assumption of ALL Risks

I hereby acknowledge that on any Himalayan Experiences tours there are risks including, but not limited to traveling in mountainous terrain, altitude, forces of nature, civil unrest, all forms of transportation, accident or illness in remote areas without means of rapid evacuation or proper medical facilities.

I hereby release Himalayan Experiences, their guides, outfitters or contractors from any and all liability arising from death, illness, injury, emotional trauma, delays, loss or damage to personal property, negligence or recklessness of any kind, and from any and all claims, demands or expenses resulting from the tour.

I acknowledge that part of the appeal of adventure travel is in different risks than we would normally face in our daily life, and that these risks are one of the reasons for my participation on such a tour.

The above Release of liability and Assumption of all risks statement applies to all members of my family, including any minors accompanying me, and are binding upon my heirs, legal representatives and assigns.

I have carefully read and agree to all the conditions as stated under Terms and Conditions, especially Reservations and Cancellation and refunds. I have also read Release of Liability and Assumption of All Risks paragraphs and agree to the terms and conditions.
