Mandwa

Mandwa is often referred to as an "Open Art Gallery" due to the exquisite murals and intricate artwork that adorns the walls of these havelis. Mandawa is a popular tourist destination for art and architecture enthusiasts, history buffs, and those interested in Rajasthan's rich cultural heritage. Mandawa's magnificent havelis or mansions, built by the rich merchants of the region, display a unique architectural style that evolved around courtyards. The highlight of the havelis is the frescoes that are seen almost everywhere - on the facades, gateways, courtyard walls, parapets and ceilings - depicting local legends, animals, portraits, hunting and wrestling scenes and a glimpse of everyday life.

Rohet

Rohet is a small village located in the state of Rajasthan, India, known for its rustic charm and traditional way of life. It is located about 40 kilometers from Jodhpur and offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Rohet is famous for its heritage havelis (mansions), which are beautifully adorned with intricate Rajasthani architecture and ornate frescoes. The village is surrounded by sand dunes, making it a perfect destination for desert safaris and camel rides. The Bishnois are known as the conservationists to whom the preservation of animals and vegetable life is a religion since the early 15th century. Their spritual mentor, Guru Jambheshwar was a wise ecologist. He formulated Bis (twenty) + noi (nine) = Bisnoi tenets from which the community derives its name. These include a ban on killing animals and felling green trees, and providing protection to all life forms.

Jodhpur

Jodhpur, located in the western state of Rajasthan, India, is famously known as the "Blue City" due to the blue-colored houses in its old town area. It is also known as the "Sun City" because of its bright and sunny weather throughout the year. The Mehrangarh Fort, in Jodhpur, is one of the largest forts in India. Situated 400 feet (122 m) above the city it is enclosed by imposing thick walls. Inside its boundaries there are several palaces known for their intricate carvings and expansive courtyards. With its royal palaces, forts, and vibrant culture, Jodhpur offers a unique and enchanting experience to visitors from around the world.

Pushkar

Pushkar is a small pilgrimage town located in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is known for its holy Pushkar Lake and the Brahma Temple, which is one of the few temples dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator in Hindu mythology. Pushkar also has a vibrant market with colorful stalls selling local handicrafts, textiles, and jewelry.
