Nohkalikai Falls is one of the tallest water falls in India at 1100 feet (335 metres) high. The waterfall is located near Cherapunjee, one of the wettest places on earth. The falls are fed by the rainwater collected on the summit of comparatively small plateau and decrease in power during the dry season in December- February
Shillong is the capital of Meghalaya, one ofthe smallest states in India and is situated at an average altitude of 4,908 ft (1,496 m) above sea level, with the highest point being "lum shyllong" at 1965 m. Shillong has beautiful lakes and waterfalls, and is set in pine forests and green mountains. It is a popular hill-station which the British used to call the Scotland of the East.
The Brahmaputra enters India in the state of Arunachal Pradesh, where it is called Siang. It makes a very rapid descent from its original height in Tibet, and finally appears in the plains, where it is called Dihang. It flows for about 35 kilometres(22 miles) and is joined by the Dibang River and the Lohit River at the head of the Assam Valley. Below the Lohit the river is called Brahmaputra, entersthe state of Assam and becomes very wide—as wide as 10 kilometres (6.2miles) in parts of Assam.

Day 10 | Drive to Dibrugarh visiting Sivasagar en route. Walk around the tea estate in the evening. Overnight in Dibrugarh. |
Day 11 | Day tea tour with ethnic dance performance in the evening. Overnight in Dibrugarh. |
Day 12 | Drive to Wakro visiting Empong village to see Khampti tribe en route. Overnight in Wakro. |
Day 13 | Visit Lama and Chakma villages. Overnight in Wakro. |
Day 14 | Drive to Tezu and continue to Roing. Overnight in camp in Roing. |
Day 15 | Earlymorning drive to Mayodia Pass. Return to Roing and visit local village. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Roing. |
